Gospel music begun with Thomas A. Dorsey, the father of Gospel music. The word gospel comes from the Old English god means “good” and spel means “news, a story”. In Christianity, the term “Good News” refers to the story of Jesus Christ’s birth, death and resurrection. These three events talk about the Salvation Plan of the God the Father, and we can find all these in the Holy Bible.
